Delivery & Returns
Boobalou offers free UK Standard delivery on orders over £50 (around 6 working days for delivery) or you can upgrade to a quicker delivery option. Orders under £50 we charge a flat rate of £2.95 for UK Standard 2nd Class post (around 6 working days for delivery)
Boobalou offers you three upgraded delivery options should you need your parcel sooner:
Royal Mail First Class Delivery/Priority Upgrade, priced at £3.50 (around 2-3 working days for delivery), and...
UK Next Day Delivery (1-2 working days), priced at £6.95 (one working day, for orders placed before 12 noon; orders placed after 12 noon will be shipped the next working day). Next day delivery is not guaranteed but will be sent via a next day delivery service.
DPD Next Working Day Delivery, priced at £7.95 (one working day, for orders placed before 12 noon; orders placed after 12 noon will be shipped the next working day). Next day delivery is not guaranteed but will be sent via a DPD next day delivery service. DPD service is for UK mainland only and also excludes the Scottish Highlands.
Most orders over £50 are sent tracked via Royal Mail. Please contact us if you would like the tracking number. If you need your parcel sooner or within a specific time frame please contact us as we are happy to help - email@example.com. Large orders may be sent via a courier service.
We ship worldwide, with the exception of Canada and USA.
There is a flat rate Inside Europe Shipping cost of £8.95.
Outside of Europe, the shipping costs are - orders under £50 - £8.95, orders over £50 - £10.95, and orders over £100 - £17.95
If this shipping cost is much higher we may contact you before sending your order, giving you a corrected shipping quote - at which point you can either agree to proceed and pay any additional amount or cancel your order. Boobalou is not responsible for any customs fees that may occur. If you are ordering from outside the EU and your order is over £15 a customs fee may occur. International parcels normally take around 3-10 working days to arrive, depending on the destination.
You will receive your order either in reused, recyclable or biodegradable packaging. While checking out you have the option to chose plastic-free or reused packaging. Most orders are sent plastic-free as standard. If you receive any plastic in your parcel it will be from reused packaging (for example plastic tape that was already on the parcel that is being reused). If we ever need to use a mail bag it's normally a recycled paper mail bag. You can also choose plastic-free packaging or reused packaging at the checkout page. Reused packaging I consider more eco-friendly as it doesn't use any new resources, other than some extra recycled paper tape. (Reused packaging is subject to availability - due to how much packaging I have left to reuse)
When checking out you have three payment options, PayPal, credit/debit card or via Bank Transfer.
If you choose via bank transfer you will receive our bank details to make the payment. Once funds are cleared we will post your order to you.
You can also pay directly with a credit or debit card. Card payments are processed by Sage Pay which is encrypted on this website. No card details are ever stored on this website and payments are taken by Sage Pay's secure network.
For PayPal payments, you do not need a PayPal account. You will be automatically directed to PayPal where you can choose the pay with card option. Payment details will be entered through PayPal which is a secure network. To pay via card click 'Pay with Card' underneath the login box once directed to PayPal.
Once we have received your order you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please check spam/junk if you're waiting for a reply or a despatch email.
We can offer a refund or exchange an item returned within 14 days of delivery. You must email us within 7 days of receiving the goods to qualify for a refund. Unless an item is faulty the cost of returning the goods is the customer's responsibility. Goods must be returned unused, undamaged and in original packaging then we can issue a full refund. If an item is returned used or damaged we will return the item without a refund or exchange. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to return an item.
For hygiene reasons we unable to offer a refund or exchange on the following products:

When posting an item back to us please obtain a certificate of postage. We can not refund or exchange items that fail to reach us. However, with a certificate of postage, you should be able to claim compensation from Royal Mail.
To return your product, you should post your product to: 82 Spelthorne Lane Ashford Middlesex United Kingdom TW15 1UH.
Unless your item is faulty you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
If you are returning goods over £30, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 working days.
Ordering with Boobalou
Our product categories are in drop down menus under Eco Lady, Eco Baby, Eco Home and Eco Living. Otherwise you can use the search bar to find a specific product. We are always here to help if there is anything you can not find please email us any time.
To place an order simply click ‘Add To Basket’. You can select quantities before adding to the cart and before checking out. If you can not add additional quantities it means you have the last item left in stock.
You can view your ‘Basket’ or ‘checkout’ at any time by clicking on items(s)-amount next or the little shopping trolley icon located at the top right of each page.
When checking out please make sure we have the correct shipping address. If the shipping address is different to the billing address please tick ‘Ship to a different address’ under ‘the Shipping Address option and fill in the correct shipping details.
If your order is a gift please add a note when checking out. We can include a personal message from you to the receiver.
Please also add a note if you require a paper invoice as we do not usually include a paper invoice.
What if your order doesn't arrive when you expect?
Although we make every effort to despatch your item as soon as practically possible, (subject to product availability and any delays caused by peak or holiday periods), we ask that you allow up to 15 calendar posting days for delivery in the event that the post takes a little longer than anticipated, as recommended by Royal Mail.

We usually obtain proof of posting with all orders from Royal Mail. If your order has been lost in the post or delayed, we will deal with the claim on your behalf, and will issue a refund or replacement. Royal Mail will contact you in writing and ask for confirmation that the package has not been received or has been delayed. Please provide this information to Royal Mail as soon as possible to avoid any delays with the claim.
When ordering we will need you name, address, email address. We may use this information to inform you of promotions or products. Please email us if you would prefer not to receive this information. We will not forward any personal information about you to any third parties.
