A natural, vegan shampoo bar. Handmade in the UK. It's an old concept, a soap bar you can use on your hair but it actually works. This shampoo bar is a great and convenient way to wash your hair, face and body. It also makes a great shaving bar too!

GREAT FOR: Nourishing & Balancing. Suitable for all hair/skin types, especially for problem, sensitive and combination hair/skin types.

Made with natural and organic ingredients. Free from SLS's, Parabens, Phthalates, Synthetic fragrances, Palm Oil, Mineral oil and Synthetic additives.

Cleans your hair without stripping your scalp's natural oils. Can be used to clean your hair, face and body.

If you decide to eliminate commercial shampoo and shower gel from your household. Not only will you become free from nasties such as parabens, alcohol, sodium lauryl sulphate etc. You will also save tonnes of plastic from production and/or going to landfill.

Plastic free and Palm Oil free. Certified vegan. Comes packed in a biodegradable muslin bag.

HOW TO USE: Try not to rub the soap bar directly onto your hair. Wet bar and lather in hands. Apply lather to wet hair, Shampoo and then rinse out. Remember to wash soap thoroughly through the hair.
For a natural conditioner, follow with an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse or a Distilled White Vinegar rinse. Start with 1-2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar or Distilled White Vinegar diluted in 200ml of water. Over time, you can increase the amount of vinegar you use to suit your own hair. Apple Cider Vinegar is very moisturising, please give your hair a good few weeks to adjust to your new wash method. If you find your hair is feeling waxy, then a Distilled White Vinegar rinse may be suitable for you or if you have oily hair.

Prolong the life of your soap by not leaving soap in a soggy soap dish, or in an area where water is constantly flowing. Allow the bar to dry in between uses.

+ KEY INGREDIENTS +

+ ORGANIC WILDCRAFTED SOAPNUTS have been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries to treat sensitive skin, eczema, hair and scalp problems. Soapnuts have skin & hair softening properties, as well as a mild anti-bacterial and anti-microbial function and because of this they have been used in Ayurveda to treat infections, and to help keep the skin/scalp free from bacteria.

+ ORGANIC AVOCADO OIL is good for moisturizing dry, brittle, and damaged hair. It's also great for deep conditioning, strengthening hair, and adding shine. The vitamins, amino acids, and high fat content promote healthy cell growth and are great for maintaining and healing dry, itchy scalps.

+ PURE ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND with Lemon, May Chang & Ylang is balancing and will control excess oil production, as well as being rejuvenating and a very uplifting fragrance.

Beyond impressed!
01 January 2019  |

So, I bought this soap bar a while back when I swapped out all plastic hand soap bottles in our house for bars. However, I have held off trying it out because I've heard many mixed reviews about shampoo bars from people. I had a free lazy day at home today so didn't care what my hair looked like and have made a resolution to reduce plastic in our home even more in 2019 so the first day of the new year seemed an apt time to try it.
My verdict? This soap is AMAZING! I don't know why I was so hesitant to try it. It lathered up really quickly, faster than other shampoos I've used and my hair feels so soft now that it has dried. I am so so impressed and will not be going back to bottled shampoos full of goodness knows what after trying this. My husband is now up for also giving it a go and I will use it for my children's hair too from now on.
In short, if you're sitting on the fence about this - hop down and go for it!
